Somerset Hotels embracing new developments from Avon Data
Tudor Hopkins purchased the Old Manor Hotel in Bradford-Upon-Avon in 2012 which he later renamed to The Moonraker Hotel.
The name is based on a Wiltshire legend about 16th-century smugglers who narrowly escaped the law when raking their illegal barrels out of the village pond by moonlight. The full tale can be read here on the hotel website.
Hotel Executive and Banquet EPOS were already in use when Tudor took over the hotel, but since then, he has embraced the many new developments that have become available, such as guest engagement, HE-Remote, channel management integration and an upgrade to Banquet EPOS.
“It was actually already installed when we took over the hotel, but it’s much better than the previous software I used at the last hotel I managed. The management information is a big help; seeing booking history and geographic information on our clients really helps us understand them better and of course helps ensure repeat bookings and cross sells”
In 2015, Tudor purchased The White Hart in Wells. It was great news for Tudor that again, this was an Avon Data site already!
