Avondata is committed to supporting and nurturing talent in the technology sector in the South West and that’s why we have developed a structured Career Progression Plan (CPP) for the software engineers we employ.

The plan is designed to guide our software engineers to continuously develop in their roles and enable them to support Avondata’s business aspirations as well as providing them with invaluable experience.

When a software engineer joins us, they are assigned to one of five levels that make up the CPP, dependent on their experience and alignment to that stage of the plan.

Each level has a theme and an area of focus, with the first concentrating on getting qualified, before moving on to more advanced learning and growth, working independently and then finally taking on leadership responsibilities.

We are currently on the lookout for full-stack software engineers to collaborate in the creation of lean, great software. The successful candidate will use modern technology stacks to craft beautiful, real-time user experiences and will be enrolled in our CPP scheme to help them in their careers.
